Nail Technician Training Program
At this time based on a standing order from area employers we have guaranteed job opportunities for those graduates that complete the program and pass their state board exams based on a certain time frame. As the cosmetology industry moves towards specialization, one of the biggest areas of growth is in the area of manicuring. This growth has created the need for properly trained and licensed nail design technicians. Our program offers the students both the theory and practical training skills necessary to exceed basic requirements and become leaders in their career field.
Curriculum Includes:
Preparation, Equipment, & Implements, Manicuring/Pedicuring, Nail Composition & Structure, Bacteriology, Sterilization, & Safety, Nail Diseases & Disorders, Nail Extensions, Professional Development & Anatomy
All classes are also provided online along with state board test preparation exams available online and on CD. Online classes are not a substitute for in class hours but are a supplement to the program. |
Nail students are enrolled for the purpose of learning manicuring and pedicuring. After completing this course and licensing exam, a student will be able to obtain entry-level employment in a salon as a manicurist, providing manicuring, pedicuring, nail extension and repair services.
Graduation:
Upon completion of the program & full tuition payment, the student will be awarded a certificate of completion and all the necessary materials and instructions needed to apply for the appropriate state board exam.
Training encompasses many specialty courses that train the student for job placement opportunity. We teach the student the necessary skills needed to work for a salon, day spa, or as an independent agent.
